SAFEGUARDING RE: CORONAVIRUS

DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY:

In light of current guidance from the NHS in order to reduce the number of patients visiting the surgery we have made the difficult decision to close our doors to all visitors. Our GP’s are conducting telephone assessments & if necessary you will be invited in. We also offer video link appointments using the livi app.

If you call to make a phone appointment you will be asked a number of questions by the receptionist so that your call can be dealt with appropriately.

If you have symptoms of coronavirus including a new continuous cough & high temperature you are advised to stay at home for 7 days. If your symptoms get worse NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service & gives advice on what to do. Only phone 111 if you cannot go online or you have filled in the questionnaire and told to do so.

For up to date advice go to www.nhs.uk/coronavirus

Please rest assured your care is our priority during this difficult time.

Thank you
